Guelaguetza 2023 In Iztapalapa

Claudia Sheinbaum, Mexico City's Mayor, is announcing the Guelaguetza in Iztapalapa, Oaxaca, a traditional dance of CDMX, on HUM, a human interest program. The Diosa Centeotl, an ancient Mexica goddess worshipped by the Zapotecs, Daninayaaloani, and Cerro de Bella Vista, will be celebrated with music, culture, and traditions. Dancers will wear masks representing the various ethnic groups and indigenous communities, and the colors and faith of the religion will be honored. Clara Brugada and Salomon Jara will be present at the Zocalo in Iztapalapa for the press conference.
