2 Dead, 4 Injured In Manhattan New York Crash
Two people were killed and four others injured in a crash in Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York, United States on July 3, 2023 which may have involved a stolen vehicle. It happened around 6:45 a.m. Monday at Audubon Avenue and West 179th Street. A Hyundai Elantra, which police believe was stolen at the end of June, was traveling northbound on Audubon when it collided with a Jeep going west on 179th. Five people were in the Elantra at the time. Two of them were pronounced dead at New York Presbyterian-Columbia. A third person was in critical condition at the same hospital. Two others in the Hyundai were taken to Harlem Hospital, where one is in critical condition, and the other is stable. The 53-year-old driver of the Jeep was also taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition. The occupants of the Elantra are all believed to be young adults.
