Fatal Shooting In Newark, New Jersey Monday Evening; Three People Shot, Two Victims Unresponsive

Shooting in Newark, New Jersey, United States on July 24, 2023. A shooting transpired in Newark, New Jersey after 10:00 PM, Monday afternoon in two separate locations. One shooting occurred in the area of Clinton Place and the second shooting occurred in the area of Johnson Avenue which are blocks apart from each other. Three people were shot with two of those individuals unresponsive. Casualties were reported, however an exact number was not immediately confirmed. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office was notified.
