City Of Volos Hit By Record Rain And Flash Floods
The aftermath of the fierce rainstorms hit central Greece showing the damage from the floods while roads are still covered by floodwater and mud and heavy machinery and bulldozers are cleaning the area, while fire service is pumping water. The city of Volos witnessed flooded and mud-covered cars and other vehicles still in the water on the morning of 7 September 2023, after being hit by Storm Daniel and record rainfall causing deadly flash floods. Casualties have been reported in addition to missing people while cities, villages and areas are without running water and electricity.
