LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - JANUARY 18, 2023: A staff member holds Gibson Guitar Incorporated, Nashville, Tennessee, 1983, a solid-body electric guitar, Les Paul Standard ’59 Reissue, estimate £10,000-15,000 which was used to record both the title track and ‘Money For Nothing’ on Dire Straits’ 1985 album Brothers In Arms, during a photocall at Christie's auction house showcasing the highlights from the personal collection of Mark Knopfler, frontman of the iconic British band, Dire Straits, in London, United Kingdom on January 18, 2023. The guitars will be offered at an auction on January 31 and 25% of the total hammer price will be donated to The British Red Cross, Tusk and Brave Hearts of the North East charities, which Mark Knopfler has supported for many years.
