Tawur Kesanga Ritual Ahead Nyepi Celebration
Balinese Hindu devotees are burning an Ogoh-ogoh to mark the end of the Tawur Kesanga ritual at the Parahyangan Agung Pasundan temple in Bekasi district, West Java, on March 10, 2024. During the Tawur Kesanga ritual, Balinese Hindus are participating in a worship and parading Ogoh-ogoh, effigies that represent demons or bad traits, which they will then burn as a symbol of the triumph of goodness.
