Three people are being shot, with one person being pronounced dead, one person being in critical condition, and one person being in good condition in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 23, 2024. At approximately 4:59 p.m., Sunday afternoon, on the 2800 block of S. Kedzie Avenue, Chicago police officers are responding to a gunshot detection technology alert and are finding a 19-year-old male victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the body, and he is being transported to the hospital where he is being pronounced dead. A 19-year-old female victim is self-transporting to the hospital with a gunshot wound in the leg and is in good condition. A 20-year-old male victim is self-transporting to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the body and is in critical condition.
