Anti-pride March In Mexico City
This Saturday, members of the dissident bloc are marching from Fuente de Cibeles to the Congress of Mexico City, Mexico, on June 24, 2023, against the LGBTTTIQA+ Pride March in rejection of the capitalization of this commemoration and false alliance discourse through companies and media via advertising and marketing campaigns, leaving aside the real cause and null struggle to eradicate discrimination, racism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, and violence in all its forms that they face on a daily basis. In Mexico, some of the reasons for complaints from LGBTTTIQA+ communities/societies are due to gender identity, followed by gender role expression and health status, while the majority of discriminatory acts are occurring in the workplace, education, and commercial establishments, and in other cases, in hate crimes.
