One woman dies and a 15-year-old girl is injured in a domestic stabbing in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, United States, on December 22, 2024. On Sunday evening at approximately 9:28 p.m. at 942 East 81st Street, a woman is stabbed in the neck and abdomen, taken to the hospital by EMS, and pronounced dead. EMS attempts to perform life-saving measures in the ambulance, but they are not successful. A 15-year-old girl is also injured when she attempts to intervene and sustains a laceration; she is expected to recover. No suspects are currently in custody.
