Air Canada Plane Collides With Fire Truck After Landing At LaGuardia Airport
NTSB investigators work at the scene where an Air Canada jet and a Port Authority fire truck are on the runway at LaGuardia Airport in New York on March 23, 2026, after colliding following the jet's landing on Sunday night. The collision results in the deaths of two pilots and the hospitalization of 41 others. The crash causes significant damage to the front of the jet and leads to the temporary closure of LaGuardia Airport for most of Monday. The airport reopens after several hours as the National Transportation Safety Board continues its investigation. (Photo by Kyle Mazza/NurPhoto)
