Air Canada Plane Collides With Fire Truck After Landing At LaGuardia Airport
U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy speaks at a press conference following the collision of an Air Canada jet and a Port Authority fire truck on the runway at LaGuardia Airport in New York on March 23, 2026. The collision results in the deaths of two pilots and the hospitalization of 41 others. The crash causes significant damage to the front of the jet and leads to the temporary closure of LaGuardia Airport for most of Monday.
