The Sagrada Familia peregrine falcons
A pair of peregrine falcons are established at the Sagrada Familia as part of a reintroduction project promoted by the Barcelona City Council. Since 2003, these falcons have raised several chicks and help keep pigeons away from nesting in the basilica. The falcons are easy to spot during the day in Barcelona, on March 22, 2026.
