FBI Evidence Response Team Processes Scene And Collects Evidence Following Discovery Of Suspicious Device On Odell Avenue In White Plains New York

Members of the FBI Evidence Response Team collect evidence following the discovery of a suspicious device on Odell Avenue in White Plains, New York, United States, on March 30, 2026. On Monday morning, March 30, 2026, the White Plains Police Department responded to a report of a possible transformer explosion in the area of Odell Avenue at approximately 4:28 AM. Units conducted checks of numerous transformers but found no evidence of damage. The situation changed at approximately 6:08 AM, when a White Plains police officer observed what appeared to be a small explosive device near the doorway of an apartment building at 11 Odell Avenue. Additional units established a perimeter, and residents in the vicinity were instructed to shelter in place as a precautionary measure. The device was successfully secured.
