Since from past 3 years, Gurung family started making Nepali traditional handmade lokta paper and earns around NRs. 30-40 (US$ 300-400) thousand per month. Lokta paper is durable and resistance to tearing, humidity, insects and have traditionally made lokta paper the choice for the recording official government records and sacred religious text Books.
