Lechon festival in Manila

A child looks on as a lechon (roasted pig suckling) dressed as a victim of extrajudicial killings lies on top of a tricycle during the La Loma Lechon festival in Quezon City, east of Manila, Philippines on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The festival, whose main highlight is the parade of lechon in different costumes, is held every third Sunday of May, coincides with the Feast of Nuestro Señor de Salvacion, and has been a tradition in the area for more than fifty years. The placard reads, "War on Drugs, Don't Emulate, I'm A Pig!" (Photo by Richard James Mendoza/NurPhoto)
