USAF deploy two B1-B Lancer Bombers over North Korea
Zambraniyah, IRAQ - July 30, 2017: File image dated circa 2008 of a US Air Force B1-B Lancer bomber target. Six guided bomb units dropped from a B-1B Lancer and cleared by Senior Airman Joseph Aton strike an al-Qaida torture house and prison in 2008 in northern Zambraniyah, Iraq. The USAF deployed two of these bombers, escorted by South Korean F-15 fighters over North Korea in a show of force following North Korean missile tests.
