Indonesia Slamet Volcano
Mount Slamet spews hot lava and volcanic ash as it is seen from Sumbang, Banyumas, Central Java, Indonesia, on August 16, 2014. The 3,432-metre volcano sprayed volcanic ash and emitted fireballs from its crater to a height of between 100 and 600 meters since August 7. Indonesian officials have banned people from going within 4 kilometres from the volcano's crater - Java's second highest and one of its most active volcanoes - which is now on alert status.
