Indonesia Blocked Porn Contents On Whatsapp

Users try to use the Gif content feature in the Whatsapp chat app that can not be accessed, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Communications and Information has blocked 6 tenor sites that provide pornographic Gif content in one of the features in the Whatsapp application. This is to follow up protests in the community since the last few days related to pornographic content in the app that is considered to be bad for children. The Indonesian government has also asked Whatsapp to remove pornographic content from the app within 2x24 hours since Monday, November 26, or the government will block the application.
