Ruin of Darul Aman Palace

Pics taken on October 24, 2014. Ruined corridor of Darul Aman Palace during Mujahideen factions fought for control of Kabul in the early 1990s and building of new parliament on background, Kabul, Afghanistan Darul Aman Palace was built in the early 1920s for King Amanullah Khan. Heavy shelling by the Mujahideen after the end of the Soviet invasion left the building a gutted ruin. It was attacked by Taliban again on 15 April 2012. Now the palace is closed for visitors, but local Afghans stills break in the building.
