Gilets Jaunes Protests Reach Their Third Month In Nantes

Saturday, February 16, 2019 yellow vests (gilets jaunes), trade unionists and members of far-left (about 1,500 demonstrators in total) of Loire-Atlantique and neighboring departments demonstrated in the city center of Nantes for the act 14 of their movement that comes from start your third month this week.The protesters claimed as in previous weeks the introduction of the Citizen Initiative Referendum (RIC), an increase in their purchasing power, the cessation of police violence and for some the dismissal of Emmanuel Macron.Violent clashes between protesters and police occurred throughout the demonstration.
