Julian Assange Arrested In London

Julian Assange was arrested today by the British police at the Ecuadorian Embassy in central London after his asylum status has been withdrawn by Ecuador’s president Lenin Moreno following 7 years of providing a refuge for the whistleblower. The arrest was made on behalf of the US authorities’ request for extradition over alleged computer related offence and conspiracy with Chelsea Manning for publishing the Iraq War Logs.
