Blocking Taxi Drivers In Paris

Taxi drivers brandish a large banner on which one can read "La loi Maraude = Taxi" during a major snail operation this Monday, May 20, 2019 in Paris on the highways and the Parisian ring road in order to block the center of Paris to challenge the draft law LOM (Loi d'Orientation des Mobilités) currently under consideration. Taxi drivers are calling for the suspension of this bill, which would strengthen unfair competition from VTCs and Uber in particular and the simple application of the Grand Guillaume Act.
