Blocking Taxi Drivers In Paris

A taxi driver of the SUD Taxi union harangues with a megaphone the crowd gathered in front of the National Assembly during a major snail operation on Monday, May 20, 2019 in Paris on the highways and the Parisian ring road to block the center of Paris to challenge the draft LOM (Loi d'Orientation des Mobilités) law currently under consideration. Taxi drivers are calling for the suspension of this bill, which would strengthen unfair competition from VTCs and Uber in particular and the simple application of the Grand Guillaume Act.
