International Day Of Human Rights In Amsterdam

The 24-year-old Iranian actress and activist Yasaman Aryani was arrested on International Women’s Day 2019 after handed out flowers to female train passengers and did not wear a hijab, forced veiling. Yasaman was sentenced to 16 years in prison, of which she must serve at least 10. Her mother, who also participated in the protest, received the same punishment.
