Poland Makes Mask-Wearing Obligatory

An antibacterial gel for hands and a pack of ten protective masks seen for sale in zabka shop in Krakow. From today until further notice, the Ministry of Health introduced a new rule that requires all people to cover their mouth and nose with a piece of clothing, scarf, handkerchief, cotton masks, visor or face mask, every time they go outdoors. This rule applies to all means of public transport and public places (including streets, roads and squares, churches, shops and marketplaces and green areas). The fine for violating the new rule is between 500-30,000 PLN. On Thursday, March 16, 2020, in Krakow, Poland. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
