Coronavirus Emergency In Sao Paulo
Vehicle traffic in the central region of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 11, 2020 during the quarantine period in force in the state due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. Today the implementation of the expanded and more restrictive car rotation in the whole city is beginning to take effect, due to the pandemic. The measure was announced on Thursday, 07, and published in a decree in the Official Gazette on Friday, 08. Cars with even-end plates will only be able to run on even days and vehicles with an odd end, on odd days. The measure applies to the entire city, 24 hours a day, including Saturdays and Sundays.
