The Greek authorities lifted the Covid-19 Coronavirus lockdown measures and allowed the first wave of tourists to mainland airport at 15 of June and then since July 1 with direct flights to the islands, but to specific countries with low pandemic cases. The tourism industry is one of the main income sources for the country so Greece started easing the measures trying to keep up the safety protocols in order to relaunch and boost the tourism season.
