Happening Against The Closing Of All 'non Essentials' Businesses During The Lockdown
A woman lies on the ground to symbolize the death of her business. Demonstrators, business owners from various economic sectors (cafes, restaurants, theaters, bookstores..) gathered to make an happening against the closing of 'non-essential' businesses on the main square of Toulouse, the Capitole. They did their happening during a 2nd lockdown imposed to try to contain the spread of Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus which cause the Covid-19 ilness. These sectors are the hardest hit by the economic crisis, they ask for concrete government actions. They used black umbrellas to symbolize their disappearance.
