Donkey In Santorini Island

A donkey standing in Imerovigli near Thera in Santorini Volcano Island over the Aegean Sea in Cyclades, a beatuiful Mediterranean destination. Donkeys are used to carry tourists from the cruise ships to the caldera cliff hanging traditional settlement or carrying material for transportation in the narrow streets and alleys. There have been reports of many incidents involving violence and abuse from owners or the tourism industry against the animals in the Greek islands during the summer tourism season.
