Illuminated Middelburg Town Hall
Illuminated iconic Middelburg Town Hall, one of the main monument attractions of the city sightseeing, a landmark of architecture as seen after the sunset during the dusk magic hour with dark clouds in the sky. The Stadhuis is a 15-16th century building with Gothic architectural style, one of the finest in the country. The interiors burnt down entirely in May 1940 during the bombardments in the Second World War. Right now the building is in use from the university. Middelburg is the capital of the Dutch Zeeland province, a famous and popular tourist destination for locals and international travelers but is deserted of visitors due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic travel ban, safety measures, lockdown, and curfew.
