Demonstration Against Vaccine Mandates At City Hall In New York City
Protesters gather in City Hall park to protest recent mandates requiring vaccines against the coronavirus on August 9,2021 in New York City, USA. Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that as of August 16th entry into indoor spaces will require a vaccination against Covid-19 with an enforced mandate on September 13th. New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo also announced that all state employees and health care workers as well as patients facing health care workers will have to be vaccinated or will have to comply with weekly testing. According to the CDC New York City is considered to be at a substantial level of transmission of the coronavirus infections.
