Eviction Drive Protest In Kolkata
Protesters shout slogan during during burning an effigy of the Chief Minister of Assam during a massive protest which erupted in front of Assam Bhavan in Kolkata as two Muslim persons were killed and 20 others injured in clashes between police and alleged encroachers during an eviction drive suspected to be illegal immigrants from Bangladesh in villages under Sipajhar on Thursday according to sources. Assam's government has faced widespread condemnation over this eviction drive.
