Car Top Menorah Parade During The Jewish Holiday Of Hanukkah

Hassidic Jews from the Chabad Lubavitch drive vehicles with large menorahs attached to the roofs of their cars and pick-up trucks with giant menorahs during a large Car Menorah Parade on the third night of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah (Chanukah) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on November 30, 2021. According to Chabad Lubavitch there have been record turnouts for Car Menorah Parades in hundreds of cities worldwide. Last year, an estimated 5,000 car-top menorahs hit roads all over the world. This year, the numbers are expected to rise exponentially as synagogues and community centers capitalize on the menorah parade during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of people are expected to strap a menorah on top of their vehicle during the course of the holiday to participate in one of the hundreds of menorah parades organized by Chabad-Lubavitch centers all over the world.
