Crackdown On Stand News In Hong Kong
Ronson Chan, an editor at the online news media Stand News speaks to Danny Vincent, a BBC journalist, outside the offices of his paper. Stand News decided to stop operations and lay off all its staff today, after the police froze 60 millon HKD in assets. Although he was not arrested, Ronson Chan had his house searched and several of his electronic devices of his confiscated. Ronson Chan is also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Journalist Association.
