The Kosciuszko Infantry Division Memorial is seen in Warsaw, Poland on 26 August, 2022. The Kosciuszko Infantry Division was a unit of the Polish army serving the Soviet leadership in the Eastern partition of Poland during World War II. Poland tor down many Soviet era monuments after the fall of the Soviet Union however former Soviet republics are now further removing Soviet era monuments because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
