Motorized Vehicle Population In Capital Jakarta
Vehicles are seen stuck in the traffic jam during rush hour in Jakarta, on December 20, 2022. Based on data from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the number of motorized vehicles in the capital city of Jakarta has consistently increased since 2019-2021. BPS noted that the number of vehicles in Jakarta in 2021 reached 21.75 million units, growing 7.6% from the previous year (year-on-year/yoy).
