On Friday, March 24, 2023, activists staged a 4 hour sit-in in the Texas State Capitol Building Rotunda in Austin, Texas. The demonstrators quietly displayed signs condemning both the current abortion ban and a lawsuit nearing a decision in Amarillo, Texas which hopes to overturn federal approval of the abortion pill Mifepristone.
