MEP Clara Ponsatí Arrested In Barcelona

Member of the European Parliament, Clara Ponsati, Catalan independence activist exiled in Belgium and Scotland, is arrested in Barcelona, during her first visit to Catalonia. Clara Ponsati has presented a platform for the defense of the rights of Catalan independence activists in a press conference and shortly afterwards she was arrested by the regional Catalan police, obeying a European arrest warrant issued by the Supreme Court.
