Drone View Of The Deadly Train Derailment Crash In The Netherlands
Panoramic aerial view from a drone of the train wreckage after the crash. Dutch high-speed passenger train collided with heavy construction equipment and derailed between The Hague and Leiden, killing one person and injuring 30, which 19 of them seriously. The derailed train could be seen lying in a nearby field after the accident. Emergency services and workers were on the scene to assess the damage and help those affected. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation. The Dutch rail company NS NL announced that no trains will run to and from Leiden Central Station until further notice, and advised passengers to use alternative transportation. Buses were deployed to help transport passengers to their destinations. Later, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands visited the crash site.
