In spite of the coronavirus pandemic many believers have gathered in the Orthodox Church of Saint Athanasius in the old district of Varna, Bulgaria. Most of the people are wearing protective masks. The Bulgarian Orthodox Church has issued a requirement to all temples for increasing the measures for disinfection and to keep people within 2 meters of each other. These measures will apply for the coming holidays of Palm Sunday and Easter. Other people who are afraid to go outside can watch the Holy Liturgy on The Bulgarian National Television or livestream in facebook, Varna, Bulgaria on April 05, 2020

As Athanassios Kossyvakis, head of the lab, mentioned up to the 26th of February, the Pasteur Institute has checked more than 40 samples that were suspicious for coronavirus. All were negative.
