A barred owl is seen during a public demonstration at the nonprofit Avian Reconditioning Center in Apopka, Florida. The Avian Reconditioning Center rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds of prey, releases healthy raptors back to the wild, and provides permanent homes for those that cannot survive on their own.
