In Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, 30kms northwest of Paris, on October 17, 2020, the day after the terrorist attack in Conflans Saint-Honorine during which a history teacher from the Bois d'Aulne middle school was beheaded for having shown caricatures of Mohammed in class, many residents, students, parents, teachers and Parisians came to gather in front of the school and lay flowers in honor of Samuel Paty.
