Shelters done of empty ammunition boxes and sand bags left by Russian troops seen from the window of an evacuation train from Kherson to Khmelnytskyi, on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Five weeks after liberation, the city of Kherson and the surrounding villages are bombarded daily by Russian troops from the left bank of the Dnieper. For the past three weeks, a special humanitarian train has been available to assist in the evacuation of civilians leaving the city.
