For the first time since the beginning of the protest movement, speech and language therapists on strike were present in the procession of the Parisian demonstration on Saturday 11 January 2020, the 36th day of strike against the pension reform. The intersyndicale organisation composed of CGT, FO, Solidaires, SUD, FSU and student organisations, called for a new day of demonstration in Paris to demand the withdrawal of the pension reform project. The demonstration was quickly disrupted by clashes between demonstrators and police forces who responded with tear gas to disperse the hostile crowd.

Women, men, a populous block of the LGBTQI community, political groups (feminists, leftists, anarchists), immigrants and refugees held a massive and colorful march in Athens, Greece, on 25 November 2017, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The march began from Monastiraki area and crossed the main avenues of Greece's capital, protesting sexism and patriarchy and demanding the recognition of the womens' right to defend themselves when attacked or harassed.
