Rob's cemetery floods in Cemarajaya Village, Karawang, West Java, on January 11, 2024. More than 6 km of coastline from the border of Cemarajaya Village experiences soil erosion over the last two decades. Villages on the northern coast narrow year by year. The people who live there adapt to these environmental changes. Climate change is a serious problem facing the Earth today, including sea level rise. Rising sea levels cause widespread abrasion in coastal areas. When storms coincide with high tides, waves hit the settlements in the surrounding area. This threat is faced by those who inhabit the islands of the world.
