The Shakya Pagoda of Buddha Palace Temple, recognized as the world's oldest pure wooden structure, is standing in Shuozhou, China, on March 13, 2024. The pagoda, towering at 67.31 meters with a base diameter of 30.27 meters and weighing over 7400 tons, is the only remaining ancient tall pure wooden structure of its kind. Remarkably, the entire tower is constructed without a single iron nail, relying solely on interlocking wooden components. It was certified by the Guinness World Records in 2016 as the world's tallest wooden tower.
