On the same day, the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that the preliminary calculation of the first half of the gross domestic product 59,303.4 billion yuan, calculated at constant prices, an increase of 5.5% year-on-year, 1.0 percentage points faster than the first quarter. On a quarterly basis, China's GDP grew by 4.5% in the first quarter and 6.3% in the second quarter.
