Bomb debris in the Kochchikade neighborhood in Colombo,Sri Lanka after a secondary explosion that occurred on April 22, 2019. This explosion happened just 1 block away from the St. Anthonys church which was one of the eight targeted bombs that went off the day before on Easter Sunday. Police attempted to diffuse this bomb, though during the procedure it accidentally was detonated, damaging homes and shops nearby.

Shrapnel and broken glass from cars from the secondary blast in the Kochchikade neighborhood in Colombo,Sri Lanka. This second explosion site occurred on April 22, 2019 , the day after Easter Sunday when eight bombs targeting churches and hotels in the country, went off. The fallout from the explosion pictured here, just 1 block away from the St. Anthonys church , happened when investigators attempted to diffuse a car bomb, which during during the procedure was accidentally detonated, damaging homes and shops nearby.
