Many flies landed on the surrounding plants at the Cibeunying Park Temporary Shelter (TPS) which was so filled with rubbish that it almost blocked Jalan Cibeunying, Bandung City, Indonesia on Thursday, September 21 2023. The large amount of rubbish was the result of the burning of the Sarimukti waste final processing site (TPA), several last time. The local government noted that around 25 thousand tons of rubbish were still piling up at various TPS in Greater Bandung.

Up close image of a sunburst above the flame diverter in launch complex 39B at Kennedy Space Center, Florida USA. Each panel in the flame diverter weighs more than 2,000 lbs. This pad was originally built for the huge Apollo/Saturn V rockets that launched American astronauts on their historic journeys to the moon and back. Following the joint U.S.-Soviet Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission of July 1975, the pads were modified to support space shuttle operations. additional design was added to support the concept of mobile launch operations, in which space vehicles are checked out and assembled in the protected environment of the Orbiter Processing Facility and the Vehicle Assembly Building, then transported by large, tracked crawlers to the launch pad for final processing and launch. The pad most recently hosted the launch of Artemis 1 for the historic return to the moon.

A US Border Patrol agent searches for migrants along the Rio Grande on May 28 in Rio Bravo, Texas, USA. Title 42, the Trump era mandate which was set to prevent migrants from entering the US, was to expire on May 23 but was blocked by a lawsuit filed by several states citing that the move to strike down the law “failed to meet standards set by the Administrative Procedure Act” and that there is no permanent solution to handling the inevitable surge in immigration. Opponents to upholding of the law voiced their demands stating that Title 42 is illegal in that it violates immigration laws that prevents immigrants from their right to seek asylum. Since the implementation of Title 42 in March 2020, US Customs and Border Protection has effected “more than 1.8 million expulsions, mostly on the southern border of the US-Mexico Border”.
