Kashmir is a leading exporter of willow cricket bats after UK to the rest of the world. Ten percent of its products are exported, mainly to the cricketing heartlands of the UK, Australia and neighbouring Pakistan and Bangladesh. Cricket as a sport is considered as an opium of masses in both India and Pakistan.
